Realistic 3D

Sit down at any table and you will suddenly find yourself immersed in a realistic poker environment surrounded by other three dimensional avatars. The game feels very much like a live poker game, especially when you are using the first person view. In the first person view, you find yourself gazing out through your avatar's eyes at the table of players and a dealer. You can look in all directions by dragging the mouse across the screen.

In addition to the interface making the game feel so realistic, you actually have to pick up your hole cards to look at them. In other words, you are not looking at your hole cards the entire time as you are with most other online poker rooms, but rather you must interact with the game to peak at your hole cards. And the whole table can see when you do. This adds an element to the game that is much like live poker. You can often get a read on a player when they check their hole cards to see if they just made a straight, or to double check what suit they are holding to see if they made the flush that is possible on the board. There are also a number of emotional sounds you can use to try to fake out your opponents. Overall PKR earns a rating of 4.5 stars. The only reason it does not receive 5 stars is because of the limitations on the types of games available, and the fact that they do not accept deposits from players who live in the US. If you live in the US downloading the software is not a complete waste, you may still play the free tables as much as you like, they just won't allow you to make a deposit.
